Technical Preparer at Hydroware

About the Role

Hydroware is the Swedish company with an international presence that manufactures market-leading drive and control systems for elevators in our factory in Alvesta. We are now strengthening our sales department in Alvesta and are looking for a technical preparer who will focus on the preparation of our drive and control systems. You will work with the preparation of both traction and hydraulic elevators.

As a technical preparer, you will work on modernizing existing elevators and be an important part of our team for quote and order registration. Your main task is to handle incoming inquiries from customers, create quotes, and technically prepare for order registration. We place great importance on your technical understanding and willingness to learn our systems. You will also be a natural ambassador for Hydroware.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and good knowledge in mechanics and/or electronics, along with a clear service mindset. You are curious, persistent, and engaged – a person who enjoys taking responsibility and is motivated by finding solutions together with our customers. You work focused and efficiently even under pressure, maintain calm in challenging situations, and adapt quickly to changing conditions. You have a strong desire to develop both personally and in your professional role.

We also see that you have:

Good computer skills with knowledge of the Office suite
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form is a requirement. Knowledge of German and French is a merit.
Technical education at least at the high school level or equivalent experience through work experience or technical interest is a requirement. We also see that you have mathematical understanding.
Experience from the elevator industry or previous work in technical sales or technical preparation is a merit.
A structured and efficient working method and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
